Alena Rose (she/her) was raised in Beaverdam, Virginia, where she found the importance of entertainment and how it impacts our social climate and personalities. She believes that her purpose, vigor and enthusiasm as an actor was formed by the lack of representation of plus sized bodies she saw in the industry growing up, therefore she uses this drive to advocate for such representation through the art she creates as well as bring theater back to its art of imagination and power it has to change the world. When not acting, Alena can be found singing, modeling, sewing, designing her own clothes, and continuing plus size advocation on her socials. Her Rutgers Theater Credits include: Macbeth in Macbeth, Barbarina in The Little
Green Birdie and Adrianna in Comedie of Errors.
