“When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to
realize his dream.”

Paulo Coelho

Mahkai Dominique is an artist from Washington, D.C. who’s been involved in the arts her entire life, but she knew acting was it. While attending the notable high school, Duke Ellington School of the Arts Mahkai gained a better sense of self, which inspired her to really get to the root of what kind of actor and artist she wanted to be. She knew that she wanted to travel the world telling stories, while of course speaking from an honest and truthful place and Mason Gross was the right choice for her. During her junior year she trained in London, England and had the opportunity to learn about their culture, which confirmed her wants and desires to tell stories about POC all over the world.

“There is nothing noble about being superior to your fellow man,
True nobility comes from being superior to ones former self.”

Ernest Hemingway

Lazarus Simmons was born in Missouri, but has bounced around all over the United States and London. He would describe himself as a super-nerd and dreams of being
Blue Marvel in the MCU–or any character when the West Wing eventually reboots.

He has been in theater since six when he was in Fairy Tale Remix in elementary school.  He graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Dramatic Art and Political Science. While there he competed in collegiate level fencing.  After graduation he worked in the North Carolina regional theater scene. Without a doubt, his
driving force is the love of creating work with his theater tribe.

He owes any successes of character to his father.
Some recent credits include: Bad American Dreams, The Winter’s Tale, Cymbeline, The Rehearsal, Dead End, The Typographer’s Dream, The Nether, The Creature, Brabo,
Brownsville Song, The Shipment, and Recall.
